6 Một ngày Sa-bát khác, Đức Chúa Jêsus vào nhà hội dạy-dỗ. Tại đó, có một người bàn tay hữu bị teo.7 Vả, các thầy thông-giáo và người Pha-ri-si chăm-chỉ xem Ngài, coi thử Ngài có chữa bịnh trong ngày Sa-bát chăng, để tìm dịp mà cáo Ngài.8 Nhưng Ngài biết ý‑tưởng họ, nên phán cùng người teo tay rằng: Hãy chờ dậy, đứng giữa chúng ta. Người ấy chờ dậy, và đứng lên.9 Đức Chúa Jêsus liền phán cùng họ rằng: Ta hỏi các ngươi: Trong ngày Sa-bát, nên làm điều lành hay là làm điều dữ, nên cứu người hay là giết người?10 Đoạn, Ngài lấy mắt liếc khắp mọi người xung-quanh mình, rồi phán cùng người bịnh rằng: Hãy giơ tay ra. Người giơ ra, thì tay được lành.
Mark 3
1 Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand.2 And they watched Jesus, to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse him.3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come here.”4 And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they were silent.5 And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.6 The Pharisees went out and immediately held counsel with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him.
Matthew 12
9 He went on from there and entered their synagogue.10 And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse him.11 He said to them, “Which one of you who has a sheep, if it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will not take hold of it and lift it out?12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other.
